Citrix ShareFile review for startups.
A client file-sharing service accountants know well, at $55 per month, with e-signing, an app, SSO and HIPAA, but no question module.
Facts checked Sep 30, 2026. Editorial score, no paid placement.
Overview.
ShareFile has been sold since 2005 out of the United States, mostly to accounting and professional services firms that swap files with clients.
Its mix of an app, single sign-on, an API and HIPAA coverage is useful for health startups. What it lacks for a round is a question workflow, so diligence questions end up in email.
Why a founder would pick it
Handy if your accountant already shares files with you through it. Once a lead fund starts diligence, a full room handles questions better.
